We’re excited to announce the launch of the brand new Neighborhood Homework House website!

This is the first website design that I’ve done almost entirely in crayon! (Well almost entirely.) It was actually fun to get down and dirty with the crayons – something that I haven’t done in years, but should probably do more often. It’s always very refreshing to take a break from a medium that you use everyday (like Photoshop, my personal favorite) and pick up a crayon, or a brush, or a piece of charcoal, or whatever strikes your fancy.

Go check out the Homework House. It’s a neat organization. Their mission is “to empower at-risk children to achieve their fullest potential academically, socially, and spiritually”. And from what I saw during my times visiting them at the 9th Street Homework House, they are really making an impact on those kids’ lives.
