I’m looking for a quick way to rate the currently playing track in iTunes without going deep into a menu or switching programs. Basically what I want looks like this:

Any ideas?

Ryan, you may check this out as well: http://blacktree.cocoaforge.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5273 if you use Quicksilver (http://quicksilver.blacktree.com/), if you don’t already use quicksilver, you should hop on it :)

Try Barquee. It’s $10, but worth the price. It works both as an iTunes controller, and lets you rate songs, by apple-clicking on current song title. (http://www.fourminutemilesoftware.com/barquee/)
